Mahila Vikas Shikshan Prashikshan Samiti (MVSPS), established in 2007, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to empowering women, promoting quality education, and fostering social development through education and training. Over the years, MVSPS has emerged as a progressive institution devoted to transforming lives through learning, skills, and awareness.

The organization believes that education is not only a tool for literacy but also a means to build empowered, confident, and socially responsible individuals. MVSPS has been working consistently to uplift marginalized communities and strengthen the educational foundation of society by blending traditional values with modern approaches.

MVSPS functions as a bridge between education and empowerment. It works towards holistic growth by engaging in teacher training, vocational development, women’s education, and health awareness initiatives. Through its sustained efforts, the organization continues to illuminate lives with the light of knowledge and self-reliance.

The society was founded in 2007 with a clear vision — to uplift the underprivileged sections of society, empower women through education, and build a generation of competent and compassionate teachers.

The foundation stone of MVSPS was laid with the inspiration to bridge the educational gap among rural and economically weaker students and to create a platform where women could rise through education and skill development. It was envisioned as a center that not only imparts knowledge but also nurtures values, confidence, and leadership in individuals.

Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Arvinder Kaur, a devoted educationist and visionary, MVSPS has grown steadily over the years. As the Secretary of the organization, Dr. Kaur’s relentless efforts, commitment, and compassionate leadership have made MVSPS a center of meaningful educational reform. Through her guidance, several impactful programs for teacher training, women empowerment, health awareness, and community development have been successfully implemented.

One of the major milestones in this journey is the successful management of South Point Convent School, which has been running effectively for the last 15 years under the aegis of MVSPS. The school stands as a beacon of holistic education, combining academic excellence with moral and social values.
