Inaugural Session of Montessori Teachers’ Training Programme

(In Collaboration with BCCL)

Mahila Vikas Shikshan Prashikshan Samiti, Dhanbad, in academic collaboration with Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), successfully organized the Inaugural Session of the Montessori Teachers’ Training Programme on 27 August 2025. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for this collaborative training initiative was formally signed in July 2025, marking the beginning of a meaningful partnership aimed at strengthening early childhood teacher education.

The inaugural session was conducted with the objective of promoting professional competencies among aspiring teachers in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) through Montessori philosophy and methodology. The programme reflects a shared commitment of both institutions toward quality teacher preparation, skill development, and community-oriented educational advancement.

During the session, the significance of Montessori education in developing child-centred learning environments, creativity, independence, and holistic development among young learners was highlighted. The initiative also emphasized capacity building of future educators through structured academic training and practical exposure.

This collaborative effort between Mahila Vikas Shikshan Prashikshan Samiti and BCCL represents an important step toward strengthening institutional partnerships for educational innovation, women’s empowerment through teacher training, and community outreach in the region.
