Collaboration with Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL)

Mahila Vikas Shikshan Prashikshan Samiti (MVSPS), Dhanbad, established an academic and skill-development collaboration with Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) in July 2025 with the objective of strengthening teacher education, promoting women’s empowerment, and supporting community-oriented educational initiatives in the region.

Under this collaboration, a Montessori Teachers’ Training Programme was initiated to enhance professional competencies in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) among aspiring teachers and community participants. The Inaugural Session of this programme was successfully conducted on 27 August 2025, marking the beginning of a structured training initiative focused on child-centred pedagogy and practical teaching skills.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment of MVSPS and BCCL toward:

• Promotion of quality teacher education
• Capacity building of women and youth through skill-based training
• Strengthening Early Childhood Care and Education practices
• Supporting community outreach and educational development initiatives
• Encouraging socially responsible institutional partnerships

Through this partnership, both institutions aim to organize training programmes, awareness sessions, academic interactions, and community development activities that contribute to professional growth, educational innovation, and social empowerment.
